Borobudur, Indonesia

Intended for: One 5yo, one 2yo, mum and dad.

Overview: History, culture, villages, scenery, geology. Maybe even actual volcanos, if we can swing it without putting everyone’s lives in too much danger. Bikes. Still working on second half/return leg of journey.

Projected strengths:  Short haul, acclimatisation and splitting up the party. Rest/activity ratio should be workable in the final edit. Flexible transport – long-distance taxi.

Foreseeable difficulties and mitigating strategies: Touts/hawkers. Getting killed by a volcanic eruption. Absence of bikes rideable over decent distance by young children. Difficulties with foreign food.

Estimated Price Bracket: Moderate
